Celebrating A-Section Accomplishments
1/16/2007
Multi-Billion dollar corporations? Greatest invention since sliced bread? Not Quite! But Kettering Entrepreneur Society (KES) is on its way. On Tuesday, January 16th, KES A-section held its first open meeting. Nearly 40 entrepreneurially curious Kettering students gathered to listen to the KES A-section founders, lead by David Gedraitis, present the basics as well as the dreams and ambitions of the society. The student founders were accompanied by our faculty mentor Dr. Tavakoli (ME), along with Prof. Borchers (Bus).
The society’s vision “To promote an entrepreneurial culture,” was evident in the room. Long after the meeting, the room was filled with a buzz of business plan talk and excitement about the entrepreneur development opportunities. Students, previously with no creative outlet, eagerly discussed business ideas with students and present faculty.
The newly founded KES is eager to develop – with the help of Kettering’s interested students and faculty – into a society that caters to the young, creative entrepreneur talent at our university. So please take a look around the website and don’t hesitate to ask how you can get involved.
